We are so blessed to be raising our children in Kent, with London so easy to get to and so many wonderful family activities and events available on our doorstep and our theatres are no exception!
For us, a school holiday would not be complete without having a trip to the theatre. My kids and I go with family or friends and always have a fab time, starting with some lunch, then off to the theatre to watch a show, followed by a stop off at an ice cream parlour afterwards. That is our idea of a perfect time out with the kids, full of fun, laughter and stuffing ourselves silly. - Something for everyone, what a perfect combo!!
Theatre brings so much to the child’s imagination, it takes them off to another world, where they can see how anything is possible. It opens their minds to new adventures and allows them to be themselves, bringing confidence and personality … And there’s us thinking we were just going to see some crazy people, dancing around in stifling hot costumes!
