Sing & Sign - Musical, Sign Language Classes In Ashford, Kent. Suitable For You & Your Baby.

Sing and Sign combines the benefits of both music and baby signing. They teach a wide range of signs using some traditional and some specially written or adapted songs.

What makes Sing and Sign special is that every sign used in song relates to those important first words of a baby's world!

Developed with the help of Speech and Language experts and launched in January 2001, the "Sing and Sign" programme has since taught tens of thousands of parents across the UK how to sign with their babies and encourage amazing early communication.

Juliete runs these classes and started because she took her own children to Sing & Sign classes when they were babies. She loved how at just six moths old her daughter could communicate her needs to her Mummy.

Juliete says:

"My daughter started signing at 6 months old, she started with milk, change nappy, more and please. She then moved onto animals, open, where and is able to put signs together to create signing sentences meaning at a young age I was able to understand her and she was able to have a conversation with me from an early age.

The lessons are relaxed and fun and I want to help other babies and parents/guardians to be able to communicate together."

There are three stages of class on offer, these are:

Babes - From birth - 6 months.

Stage 1 - From 7 - 14 Months.

Stage 2 - From 15 - 30 Months.

Each Sing & Sign class has up to 12 children, lasts 40 minutes & runs classes throughout most of the year.
